This email serves to inform you and CFW that PTI is pleased to designate CFW Precision Metals as a "Dock to Stock" supplier. This means that the quality of products provided by CFW has been such that PTI's Quality Assurance organization is eliminating mandatory incoming inspection requirements for most of the items that you supply on an ongoing basis. You should know that CFW is the first supplier to have received this designation from PTI.

New items will undergo incoming inspection as they always have until such time as Quality Assurance is satisfied that the inspection requirement can be eliminated. Incoming inspection will be reinstituted on an as needed basis, however, we anticipate that CFW will continue delivering quality products making incoming inspection unnecessary.

We appreciate your efforts on our behalf and those of the many others at CFW who participate in producing PTI's components. The productivity improvement that this allows is one small step toward making PTI more competitive in a highly competitive marketplace.

Because of the confidence that we have in CFW's quality and delivery performance we ask that CFW begin shipping selected items directly to our production facility in India, bypassing Orlando entirely.
